Generator Productions is a Multi-Platform Original Content Producer that specializes in providing production services, from concept development through post production, and content distribution across television, mobile and direct-to-client.

Founded in 1997 to provide services for commercial and corporate productions, Generator operates with a talented and experienced in-house production staff to offer the unique capability to service a full production in-house. Our post-production facility specializes in off-line edits for both our corporate and commercial projects.

Leveraging Generator's progressive commercial production experience, the company branched out in 1998 to service and create television programming. With over 300 half-hours of programming broadcast on all the major Canadian Television Networks, Generator focuses on offering production services to Independent Producers, the production of original series, and specialized branded programming. In 2005 Generator expanded to include original mobile phone content, currently being one of the only Canadian Producers to create and distribute made-for-mobile video content.

Our production facilities include two AVID Media Composer 9000 suites (including various software packages, AVR 77 on-line resolution and sound booth with direct Audio tie-in to both edit suites), numerous audio libraries, Sony Digital Betacam camera package (including camera and audio support equipment) and a 26' x 43' soundstage. This is in addition to our on-site production offices.
